The Construction Learning Gateway provides access to online learning material and assessment which enables candidates to advance into Supervision or Management within the Construction Industry. It enables them to study and qualify by e-learning for the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Level 3 Diploma in Site Supervisory Studies - combined with the Acua Certificate in Professional Development in Construction Supervision from Coventry University - and the Level 4 Certificate in Site Management. With the courses being delivered through e-learning students study at a pace and time suitable for them without the need to attend a college or training centre (with the exception of a two day workshop for surveying).
The e-learning programme also gives learners the opportunity to develop their workplace supervisory skills and knowledge and to gain professional membership of the CIOB. In addition it provides a progression route to other qualifications from the CIOB and a range of Leadership, Foundation and Honours degree programmes.
This programme has been approved by CITB-ConstructionSkills and qualifies for grant payment on completion.
